Server List

The list of added servers is displayed in the Server section of the main screen menu, as well as in the map tree.

To configure the server list, go to Server→Configure Servers. A Servers window will open, wherein you can add new servers, delete servers, sort servers or change server access parameters.

Connecting to Server

To connect to a new server, go to Server→Add Server in the main screen menu, or click Add Server in the map tree toolbar.

To connect to a previously added server, select it in the Server section of the main screen menu and click Connect. This option will be unavailable if the connection is already established. This action is also accessible from the context menu and from the map tree toolbar.

That will open the Connecting to Server window. Enter the server name, user name and password. See User Accounts for more information. Specify the synchronization period.

The clients periodically perform synchronization with servers. The synchronization ensures the following information, received form the server, is relevant: map and inventory card lists, settings, device collections and monitoring results. Only the information that was changed on the server is updated.

Disconnecting from Server

To disconnect from a server, select it in the Server section of the main screen menu and click Disconnect. This option will be unavailable if the server connection is not established. This action is also accessible from the context menu and from the map tree toolbar.

User Switching

To switch the logged-in user account, select the desired server in the Server section of the main screen menu and click Switch User. This option will be unavailable if the server connection is not established. This action is also accessible from the context menu and from the map tree toolbar.
