Algorius Net Viewer Manual | Server Setup

General Information

Algorius Net Viewer Server Setup application allows installing Algorius Net Viewer Server, configuring server startup parameters, getting information about server operation, as well as exporting or importing the server database.

This application requires Windows administrator privileges to run, since it handles the launch and configuration of the Algorius Net Viewer Server service.

Installing Algorius Net Viewer creates a shortcut for Algorius Net Viewer Server Setup in the start menu. You can also run the application by going to Tools→Server Setup in the main window menu. Alternatively, click Server Installation or Server Configuration on the Welcome page, or run NetViewerServerSetup.exe, a file from the Algorius Net Viewer directory.

Server Control Panel

To access the server control panel, run the Algorius Net Viewer Server Setup application.

If there is no server installed in the system, upon launch Algorius Net Viewer Server Setup will show the Install Algorius Net Viewer Server screen:

If the server is already installed, upon launch Algorius Net Viewer Server Setup will show the Server Control Panel screen:

The server control panel displays the following information:

• State — the state of Algorius Net Viewer Server service (stopped or running).
• Uptime — the duration of continuous operation of Algorius Net Viewer Server service.
• CPU — the load that Algorius Net Viewer Server service place on the processor.
• RAM — full size of RAM used by Algorius Net Viewer Server service, including shared libraries between applications.
• Data Directory — see Data Directory for additional information.
• Authentication — see Authorization for additional information.
• License — see Licensing for additional information.
• Database — type and version of database the server is using, and the size of all tables in use.
• Log — server log (contents of the Log file).
• Errors — a list of errors from the server log.

The control panel also contains the following buttons:

	Start Start Algorius Net Viewer Server service.
	Stop Stop Algorius Net Viewer Server service.
	Configure Configure Algorius Net Viewer Server. See
