'Map' report category provides the following types of reports:

Schema

Displays the network map. Following information is shown above the map: total number of devices, number of active and inactive devices. Number of devices in various severity levels according to notification settings is shown separately. You can enable/disable device animation in the Web interface. If animation is enabled, devices are displayed via browser. If there is animated GIF or SVG file assigned as device image, then device will be animated in a browser. Animation will be displayed only in the browser with supported animated images. Animation is supported in the last versions of almost all modern browsers. If animation is disabled, devices are shown by Web server as non-animated PNG file in the Web interface. The report is available only in Web interface. In the application interface the map is displayed in the main application window.

Device Information

Displays the information about a device. Following information is shown: device attributes, current monitoring results, data about device's ports, interfaces and connections.

Devices — displays the information about devices on one or several maps. Additionally, you can display the current number of warnings, errors, and alarms on the device or in its environment — with all the ports and devices to which this device is linked to. The report is available for one map, for group of maps, for all maps. You can filter the devices by type, by the presence of certain sensors, by states and severities.

Line Information

Displays the information about a line on the map. Double-click a line to create this report. Line data is also available in application user interface in the hint.

Text Field

Displays the information about a text field on the map. Double-click a text to create this report. You can copy the data from text field in the report. Text data is also available in application user interface in text field editor.

Device Types

Displays statistic information concerning the number of devices of each type on one or several maps, as well as how many of these devices are in the active or inactive state. Also the report displays the total number of devices. The report is available for one map, for group of maps, for all maps. You can filter the devices by type or by the presence of certain sensor.

Hosts

Displays the list of different host names on one or several maps, as well as the list of devices, which are assigned to each host. Also the report displays the total number of the hosts. The report is available for one map, for group of maps, for all maps. You can filter the devices by type or by the presence of certain sensors.

IP Addresses

Shows the list of various IP-V4 addresses on 1 or several maps and the devices, corresponding to these IPs. Corresponding MAC-address is also shown. If MAC-address has not been defined before, then it is not shown. Please read IP and MAC Gathering for more information. The report is available for one map, for group of maps, for all maps. If a device with corresponding IP is active, then a record is highlighted with green. If all devices are inactive, then a record is highlighted with red. Free ranges of IP-addresses are also shown. Thus you can find free IP easily. You can filter the records by state.

Connections

Displays connections between devices. Additionally, the connection type, length and speed of the channel are displayed. The total length is displayed in the summary field. The report is available for one device, for a map, for group of maps, for all maps. You can filter the connections and the devices by type.
