Properties

Figures, text blocks, images, and links to other maps are essentially one type of object on a map. Therefore, the properties of these objects are the same.

The properties of these objects are displayed in the Properties panel:

The following sections are available:

  • Geometry — see Map Object Properties.
  • Alignment — see Map Object Properties.
  • Style — type of the geometric figure. — For a rectangle, you can set the corner radius. — For a polygon, you can set the number of vertices. — For a star, you can set the number of vertices and the internal radius.
  • — For an arrow, you can set the type and size of the tip.
  • — For a tunnel, you can set the radius of the side part.
  • Background color — the fill color of the figure.
  • Background Image — path to a file with an image that will be displayed inside the figure.
  • Border — color, stroke, thickness and position of the figure's border.
  • Shadow - the color and offset of the figure's shadow along the X and Y axes.
  • Text—the following items are available: — Color — text color. — Font — text font. — Padding — indentation of the text inside the shape. For convenience, you can set a general (identical) or separate indent for each edge. — Rotation angle — the angle of text rotation within the shape. — Edit text — when clicked, it opens a text editor for editing and formatting the text that is displayed inside the figure on the map.
  • Link to another map —a link to a map that will open when you double-click on the object, or when you select Open from the object’s context menu.
