Adding to Map

To add a text field to a map, press the Add Text button on the toolbar or press T in the map editor. The cursor arrow in the editor will become an input cursor, showing the text entering mode is activated. Clicking on the map will set the upper-left position of the text field. The Text window will appear. Enter your text message, format it if necessary, and click OK. A new text field will be added to the map.

Editing

All basic text field operations, such as deleting, moving, etc. comply with the general rules. See the relevant chapters in the Map Objects section.

Properties

The properties of text fields are the same as the properties of figures. See Figure Properties for more information.
