Troubleshooting

Algorius Net Viewer for working with Visio uses Visio libraries, which are registered in the Windows registry. Therefore, for exporting and importing, Visio should be installed in the system.

In rare cases, the error Can’t load library (TYPE_E_CANTLOADLIBRARY) may occur. The error occurs when there is information in the Windows registry about old versions of Visio, i.e. the library of the old version is registered in the registry but not in the system. Usually reinstalling Visio helps in this case. You can also use the following method:

Open Windows registry (regedit.exe)

Open Visio branch:

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\TypeLib\{00021A98-0000-0000-C000-000000000046}

Delete the branches that are not related to the current Visio installation.

You can recognize the correct branch by the values of the keys inside it, which refer to the directory where Visio is installed.

Usually subsidiary branches include:

4.b -> Visio 2003 (Microsoft Visio 11.0 Type Library)

4.c -> Visio 2007 (Microsoft Visio 12.0 Type Library)

4.e -> Visio 2010 (Microsoft Visio 14.0 Type Library)

4.f -> Visio 2013 (Microsoft Visio 15.0 Type Library)

4.10 -> Visio 2016 (Microsoft Visio 16.0 Type Library
