How to create a network map

In the program's main menu, select File->Create. A tab will open with a new map. You can use the Network Discovery Wizard. It will help you find devices on the network and create an initial map. After that, edit the map manually by adding additional objects and links and improving the design. Read more →

How to enable network device monitoring

The simplest solution is to assign pre-installed scanning methods. To do this, select devices, right click on them, and enable, for example, Scanning Method->Ping. Devices that have been assigned a network address will start pinging. If you want to display the monitoring results on the map, go to the devices' context menu and enable Appearance->Show status. How to add your own scanning methods

In the monitoring settings, add a new scanning method, for example, one based on WMI, SNMP, SSH, etc. You can use external utilities to scan devices. An API is provided for creating your own scanning methods in the form of plugins for the application. Read more →

How to set up notifications

In the application's menu, select Monitoring->Notifications. Add events and actions – for example you can tell the system to notify you via SMS if any server stops. Indicate events' severity level to see them on the map. Read more →

How to take an inventory

In the main menu, select Inventory->Perform Inventory. The application will collect information about computers' hardware and software. Devices that are difficult to access via the network can be scanned using the provided Agent. The information collected is available for viewing and editing. The Scheduler allows you to automatically keep the information collected by the system up to date. See the Troubleshooting section is you experience any access errors while taking an inventory. How to administer network devices

Network devices are administered using commands. Commands are available in the main menu, as well as in the devices context menu. Built-in commands such as SNMP and MIB Browser are provided. You can link and use external applications. Read more →

How to set up reports

The primary parameters for reports are set in templates. A list of templates is available for editing in the Reports section of the application's settings. You can configure columns, filters, sorting, and other parameters. While viewing a report, you can fine-tune its parameters using filters (the gear icon on the left). Read more →

How to update the application

Select Help->Check for updates. If a new version is available, the application will display a list of changes and offer to install the update. You can just download the new version and install it over the current one. The installer will update the application automatically in just a few seconds. Read more →
